With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Ocala, Florida, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Coe (Walter Purdy). He is survived by: his wife Vanetta; his children, Vontricia Jackson-Bruce, Mario Jackson, Bishop Zamekio (Pastor Vickie) and Takasha DeSue (Byron); his grandchildren, Genesis Gathers, Joshua Green, Kaylah Fulton, Jaedon Henderson, Zakir Norman, Tyler B DeSue and Kayden Stewart; and his sisters, Cynthia Purdy, Kimberly Baker, KaSharon Hose and Karen Buckman.
