It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leann Jones Hargett of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Salina, Kansas, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Barbara Shufelburger (Nelson) and Allen Heath Jr.; her grandparents, Howard and Lois Jones (McMichael); her former spouses, James Brannon and Eligah Hargett (Chuck); her children, Scott Brannon (Christy) of Piedmont, SC and Melissa Burnett (Chris) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Killian, Beau and Lathan; and her siblings, Joe Willis, Larry Willis, Daniel Heath, James Willis, Carolyn Potchik and Carl Willis.

“Dear sweet LeAnn...I met you in the 7th Grade and loved you ever since as a friend. We always got along so well because you were such a sweet person. As a magistrate in Charlotte I married you and my friend Chuck Hargett in Presbyterian Hospital. I'm sorry that it didn't last forever but that was unfortunately Chuck's fault. Nobody's at fault anymore cause you are in our Savior's arms now and for eternity. I'll join you one day and we will celebrate Jesus forever. I love you LeAnn. God Bless!”
