He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal McCallister and Dougley McCallister; and his brothers, Robert and Alan T. McCallister, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Butler McCallister; his son Larry John McCallister (Lyra); his grandchildren, Ava, Liam and Levi; his son Josh McCallister (Jill); his grandchildren, Jaryn and Janyssa; his daughter Regina Clark (Roy); his grandchild Alexus "Lexi"; his great grandchildren, Tryton and Keigan; his nieces and nephews, Warren Epstein (Kristen), Alan T. McCallister, Jr., Roxanne May (James), Lori Kerr (Earl), Rhonda McCallister, Renee Boatwright and Lisa Beckwith (Kendrick); and his sister-in-law Lynda Butler Arter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Daniels Funeral Home (1126 Ohio Ave N, Live Oak, FL 32064). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
