She is survived by: her parents, Horace Lee Holmes Sr. and Valerie Ann Tate (Joseph Tate); her son DeAnthony Nixon (Lakeisha); her grandchildren, Maxwell Nixon, Micah Nixon, Aaliyah Nixon, Keyari Nixon and Kehlani Nixon; and her siblings, Keith Holmes (Gail), Tara Holmes Clark (Ronald), Eyisha Cooke-Taylor (Clayton), Horace Holmes Jr. (Shiffon) and Jasmine Smalls (Reynard). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
