She was predeceased by: her father Robert Emmett; her siblings, Robert, Thomas Foran (Patty) and Mary Lou Pesa (William); and her niece Karen Pesa.

She is survived by: her mother Della Bridgett Devaney Foran; her husband Theodore Kumik; her daughters, Jennifer (Anthony), Bridgett (Corey) and Tara (Chris); her grandchildren, Dylan, Olivia, Ross, Ryan, Jillian, Chloe, Riley and Michael; her sister Nancy Broderick (Thomas); and her pet Skylar. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to the San Jose Catholic Church, honoring her commitment to her faith and community.
