She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Laverdiere and Bea Laverdiere; and her brother David Laverdiere. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer (Trevor) and Christopher; her husband Derek; her child Chris (Rebecca); her grandson Charles; her sisters, Judie, Nancy (Mike) and Grace; her nieces, Emily (Eric), Amy and Samantha; her nephew Zachary; her great-niece Alison; her nephew Matthew; and her close friend Baxter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to, The American Cancer Foundation or the University of Michigan Annual Fund.
