He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim West and Emma Lane Jones; his siblings, Margie Tygart, Dorothy Buck Minchew and Dick West; and his half-siblings, Luther Shirah, Raymond Shirah, Earl Shirah, Myrtis Shirah McKennon and Mystic Shirah McKennon.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Maudine West (Dean); his son Judson Allen West; his daughter-in-law Lori; his daughter Melinda Hart; his granddaughters, Lana West and Lindsay (Beau Copher); and his great grandchild Stran Kyler Copher.
