With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine W. Mizell (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Palatka, Florida, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William "Billy" A. Williams; her son Billy (Sharon Mizell); her husband Bill Mizell; her son William Jackson Mizell; and her granddaughter Teri Ruth Burrows.
She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Mooneyham; her sons-in-law, Bill Mooneyham and Patrick Linehan; her son DeWitt Mizell; her daughter-in-law Merleen Mizell; her grandchildren, Jeri, Eric, Crystal, Megan and Amanda; and her great grandchildren, Jenna, Griffin, Grier, James, Ian, Silas, Cason, Ryan, McKenzie and Amelia.
She was a homemaker and mother, Baptist Sunday School teacher, and collected for the March of Dimes and American Cancer Society. She also donated blood until well into her 90's.
Josephine was the 4th of 6 children, 5 girls and 1 boy and she was the last of the siblings to pass away.
