We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2019, at the age of 94, Johnita Gibson (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Red Springs, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Johnita Gibson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nelson Gibson and Maude Jones Gibson; her siblings, Sara Louise Gibson, Thomas Allen Gibson, Charles Nelson Gibson, Earl Jones Gibson and Harold Glenn Gibson; and her granddaughter Stacy Sikes.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Bourgeois (Richard, Ric Mills), Diane Toney (Steve) and Tammy Sikes (Terry). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty six great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and one on the way, many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Jones Road Baptist Church Children's Building Fund at 2506 Jones Road, Jax, FL 32220.
