He is survived by: his wife Frances "Fran" Ransom (Clements); his children, Stacey Mitchell (Jason), John Hammerli II (Amanda), Meredith Dowell (Billy) and James Hammerli (Anna); his grandsons, Ozlo Mitchell and Reid Hammerli; his cousins, Joe Quinton, Bob Byers, Judi Byers, Connie Hess and Ed Hammerli; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. John Clements and James Clements.
