He was predeceased by: his parents, William Amos Patterson and Mae Catherine Christie Patterson; his wife Betty King Patterson; his son Tommy Patterson; and his sisters, Evelyn McCrary and Joyce Brantley.
He is survived by: his son Ed Patterson (Sandra); his granddaughters, Tonya Payne (Andy) and Christie Litwin (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Payton White (Cody) and MacKenzie Curry.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peeples Family Funeral Home (14165 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peeples Funeral Home (14165 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
