With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Alfred Forest of Jacksonville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Forest and Mattie Mae Forest; and his sister Lovevonia Pelzer. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Forest; and his siblings, Lurlene Johnson, L. Jean Stone, Melvin Forest and James Forest. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
