He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Marshall and Mable Bennett; his wife Charlene Bennett; and his son Jerome Bennett. He is survived by: his siblings, Orma Jean Bennett, Benjamin Mackie, Ronnie Marshall, Russell Marshall, Wayne Marshall and Philip Marshall; his stepmother Elizabeth Marshall; his children, Jonathan Moxon (Elena) of Jacksonville, Richard Lackey of Jesup, Nicole Frazier (Brian) of Jesup and Lisa Lackey of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Jordyn Moxon, Zariah Lackey and Brightlyn Jackson.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carthage Chapel (929 W Beaver St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church (1100 Logan St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
