With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Davenport of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Davenport and Mary Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Sandra C. Davenport; his siblings, George Davenport (Anita) and Linda Evitt (Walt); his children, Danny Davenport (Gail), Cheryl Wood (Alvin), Donna White (Craig), Cathy Boyter (David), Eric Davenport and Kris Stone; and his grandchildren, Corbin Davenport, Brody Davenport, Tyler Sitton, Brandon Sitton, Monica Patterson, Holly Taylor, Margo Powell, Mindy Donnan, Dyllan Davenport, Jake Davenport, Gwen Graham, Maddox Davenport and Nicole Stone. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
