He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Norwood Brantley, II and Ruth Ann Russell Brantley; and his sisters, Melanie Brantley, Jennifer Brantley and Bonnie Jean Deckerhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Miller Brantley; and his children, Wilson Miller Brantley and Abigail Coryn Brantley. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
