He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wallace and Dorothy Mae Ransom (House); and his sister Lynn Preston. He is survived by: his wife Dale Simmler; his sons, Jim (Anne), Scott (Cindy) and Tom (Kim); and his grandchildren, Kristin (Patrick), Jeffrey (Erin), Matthew, Michelle (Brennan), Nicholas (Lee) and Eric. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
