We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2021, at the age of 73, James McKnight (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Live Oak, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah McKnight and Elizabeth McKnight; and his sisters, Lavonne McKnight, Joyce Patterson and Helen McKnight.

He is survived by: his children, James McKnight Jr., Talmadge Taylor, Selena McKnight, Detra Parrish (Paul), Stephanie Anderson (Shawn) and Annette Gordon (Daryl); and his siblings, Nathaniel McKnight, Yvonne McKnight-Bryant and Linda McKnight-Sampson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and very close friends.
