He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo Schnellbacher. He is survived by: his children, David Schnellbacher (Linda) and Nancy Mizrahi (Jack); and his grandchildren, Jason Schnellbacher (Lucy), Erik Schnellbacher (Heather), Sara Werner (Bruce), Dena Mizrahi (Michael Feinberg), Jonathan Mizrahi (Annie) and Debra Smith (Benny). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
