He is survived by: his wife Sandra Nelson Smith; his children, Shakera Robinson, Niyaa Robinson, Tinisha Robinson, Troy Robinson and Tiffany Dnoadelle; his stepdaughters, Tondrica Sodenasky (Nicholas), Kenya Johnson (Byron), Kristin Teamer (Phillip) and Danielle Nelson; and his siblings, Lillian Smith, Marti Smith, Pamela Smith, Charles Edwards, Wayne Edwards (Rita) and David Edwards.
