With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iva Rochelle Chalker of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Lee Chalker; her parents, Hoke Smith Lingerfelt and Margaret Marie Lingerfelt (Atanasoff); and her siblings, Clinton Lingerfelt, Dwight Lingerfelt, Harold Lingerfelt, Gerald Lingerfelt and Sharon Lingerfelt Kebler.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Lee Chalker, Jr. (Joy) and Margaret Chalker Strickland (Bruce); her sister Mary Lingerfelt Watson; and her grandchildren, Johnathon, Hannah and Reghan.

If friends choose to donate memorial contributions in lieu of flowers, Rochelle would appreciate donations to March of Dimes or St. Jude.
