He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Turner and Christine Turner; his parents-in-law, Annie Pearl Belcher and Mathew Belcher Sr.; his siblings, Bertha Brown, Sandra Murray, Mary Griffin, Miley Mitchell (Ernest), Altamese Lee (Sammie), Angelina Joseph, Judith Young (Ellis), Porter Turner Jr. and Mildred Bolden; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Matthews Belcher and Demetrious Belcher.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Belcher Murray; his daughters, Iris J. Murray and Lisa Washington (Abraham); his grandchildren, Isaac Washington (Wynice), Harry O. Ball, Christine Michel (Johnson), Ericka J. Ball, Luke Washington, Barbara Jackson, Jaylen Jackson, David Washington, Daniel Washington, Tyler Newmy, Kennedy Barnes, Chase Michel, Jackson Young and Charli Michel; his sisters, Christine Holloway and Gladys Dixon; and his brother-in-law Lester Joseph. He is also survived by other grandchildren, godchildren, church family members, other relatives, and friends.
