With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ida Barnett of Jacksonville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Wise and James E. Moultrie; and her brothers, James E. Moultrie, Jr. and Richard Moultrie. She is survived by: her son James Moultrie, Sr.; her grandchildren, James Moultrie, Jr., Joshua Moultrie and Jamonte Moultrie; her sisters, Particia Ann Ford and Loretta Moultrie; her niece Lamarius Moultrie; and her nephew Isaiah Lester. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carthage Chapel (929 W Beaver St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple of Jesus and the Holy Ghost Church (1164 E 21st St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Restlawn Cemetery.
