Herbert Wallace Wilson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Wallace Wilson (Jacksonville, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Wilson and Eula Geiger Wilson; his former wife Mary Wilson; his daughter Nancy Davis; and his siblings, Carrol Wilson, Pearl Wilson Weeks and Freddie Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Wilson; his son Donald Wilson (Nona); and his stepchildren, Jeanne Burkhardt (Steven), Sherrie Furmidge (Robert), Chris Leggett (Tara) and Brian Leggett (Tracy). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westside Baptist Church (7775 Herlong Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32210). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 2:00 PM.
