He was predeceased by: his parents, Toolie Cox and Janie Popple Cox; his parents-in-law, Floyd and Ruby McNutt; and his siblings, Melvin Cox, Bruce Cox, Irene Drawdy and Fanny Stamey.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Cox; his children, Henry Cox Jr., Joseph Cox, Casey (Gale) and Theresa Cox McCall (Keith); his sisters, Glenda, Jonell and Diane; his grandchildren, Melissa, Amber (James), Destiny (Anthony), Shannon (Jeremy), Jamie (Phillip), Allen (Brittany), Jesse (Joe) and Robby (Holly); and his great grandchildren, Tate, Brooke, Hudson, Cooper, Joseph, Henry, Cara, Noah, Gabbi, Hannah, Candance, Dayton, Weston, Colton and Layla.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Truth Point Church (5330 Dunn Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers. the family requests donations in his memory to Cornerstone Baptist Church Youth Group, 3436 Lane Avenue North, Jacksonville, FL 32254.
