We bid farewell to Helen Virginia Cothran Aston of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Columbia, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 27, 2024 at the age of 77. Helen Virginia Cothran touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cothran and Helen Cothran; her husband David "Pop" Aston; and her siblings, Patsy, Larry Goff, Sandra Whitman and Steve Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Margaret Mueller and Adam Nuspliger (Krystle); her stepsons, Mark Aston (Jennifer), Scott Aston (Alisa) and Todd Aston; and her grandchildren, Kayleigh Aston, Connor Aston, Anastasia Aston, Shane Aston, Sam Mueller and Jonah Aston.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Saluda Shoals Park (5606 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212).
