She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Thomas Duhon, Jr.; and her friend Gail Murray Cornell. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Flores; her niece Tonya Dwyer; her son Mark Ferrell (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Amber Montgomery (Braden), Ryan Ferrell (Ophelia) and Ayden Ferrell; her great grandchild Loki Montgomery; her stepchildren, Cheryl, Thomas and Bunny; and her close friend Cynthia Richmond.

Her favorite charities were Christ Church Academy, Wolfson Children's Hospital and the American Heart Association.
