She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Matthews and Martha Brown Matthews (George "Dewey" Lesesne, Jr.); and her daughter Yvonne Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Yvette G. Hampton; and her grandchildren, Mario Hampton, Rashad Hampton, Jessica Jones and Isaac Jones. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
