With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Godfrey Laverne Gregory of Jacksonville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace L. Gregory and Winifred U. Gregory; his siblings, Tony, Bernard and Marilyn; and his nieces and nephews, Bernie, Rodney, Michele, Edgar Ramon, Mario (Shauna), Andre and Avis (Greg).
He is survived by: his great-nieces and great-nephews, Latrice, Rodney Vincent, Ashtonn, Carl, Angelique, Mario Jr., Savannah-Grace and Trinity.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Carthage Chapel (929 W Beaver St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Edgewood Cemetery (4519 N Edgewood Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32219).
