He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hughes and Annie Wilson Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey S. Hughes of Jacksonville, Carlton D. Wininger (Leslie) of Racine, WI, B. Kent Wininger (Tracy) of Columbus, OH and Kristi W. Lunceford (Gordon) of Richmond, KY; his grandchildren, Malcolm Kent Lunceford, Matthew Wininger, Grant Wininger, Carson Dunn and Bethany Lunceford; and his brother Roger Hughes of Bamberg, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
