He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Smith and Nancy Sipe Smith; his brother Charles Lewis "Chuck" Smith; and his daughter Rachel "Shea" Callis. He is survived by: his pet E. J.; his wife Dale Smith; his sister Kathy Fulbright (Rick); his grandchildren, Brenna Kay Smith, Tara Callis and Summer Callis; and his close friend Mike Tatum (Elaine). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
