We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2021, at the age of 65, Garnett Russell Wooten Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Lyons, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Garnett Russell Wooten, Sr.; and his brother James "Jay" Reden Wooten. He is survived by: his mother Thelma Ruth Alexander Wooten; his wife Linda Marie Wooten; his children, Garnett R. Wooten, III (Stacy) and Adrienne R. Wimberly (Rick); his sisters, Edie Knapp (Mickey) and Cynthia Lord (Bernie); and his grandchildren, Brianna Wimberly, Garnett Wooten, IV, Georgia Wimberly, Gabe Wooten, Abbigail Wimberly and Madison Wooten. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
