He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Allen Hill, Jr. and Betty Ruth Hill (Browning); and his stepdaughter Ida Marie DelCogliano. He is survived by: his significant other Joan Marie DelCogliano (Lambert); his stepdaughters, Margaret Shepherd (Donald Jr.) and Yvonne Cash (Michael); his grandchildren, Johnathan Mangum, Donald, Dalton, Daylon, Caroline, Davison Shepherd, Ashley, Blair and Jameson Cash; his great grandchild Elliana; his brothers, Gary Hill, Steve Hill, Tom Hill and Wes Hill; and his children, Samuel A Hill, Cheryl A. Hill and Stephanie M. Hill.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beaches Chapel (1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250).
