She was predeceased by: her husband Retired Commander John A. DeChant; and her children, Jeffrey Kirk and Therese Suzanne. She is survived by:, Michele D. Roberts (Bill) and Danielle DeChant.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the All Souls Anglican Church (4042 Hartley Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257). A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
