It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn S Strickland (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sweat Sr. and Katherine Sweat; and her brothers, Robert Sweat Jr. and Ronald Sweat. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Strickland Sr.; and her children, Kenneth Strickland, Jr. (Holly), Katherine Rodriguez (Elaine), Julie Ferris (Don) and Carol Tompkins (Greg). She is also survived by grandchildren and twenty-two (22) great-grandchildren.
