She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Norman and Sara Padgett Norman; her husband Vernon W. Griffis; her brother Carl Norman; and her grandson Jeremy Griffis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renae Freeman (Jim), Rita Acevedo (Ace), Rose Odom (Richard) and Regina Rizer (John); her grandchildren, Michelle Evernden (Chip), Jonathan Rizer (Christy), Amanda Rizer, Chad Griffis (Crystal), Jared Freeman and Kayla Dobbs (Channing); and her siblings, Floyd "Bud" Norman (Beadie Mae), Rachael Prescott and John Norman. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
