It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Hall (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kevin Hall and Helen Crenshaw; her son James Reed; her great grandchild Jaheem Haynes; her stepfather Thomas Wooten; her siblings, Sammie Hall, Lurlene Wooten, Carla Wooten and Marva Wright; her niece Karen Hall; her nephews, Melvin Hall, Antonio Hall and Clarence Hall; and her aunts, Charmene Summers and Connie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Jones (Glenn) and John Hall; her grandchildren, Yolanda Reed, Jeronica Reed, Deferro Reed, Glenn Jones, Nailah Jones, Brittany Johnson and Shinicka Hall; her siblings, Julian Hall, Johnathan Hall, Sylvia Scott (Seamon), Brenda Bell, Joyce Hall and Charlene; and her friends, Nellie Mae Sykes and Betty Pressley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Chapel (4315 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
