She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Collins Lindsley and T. Edgar S. Lindsley; her siblings, Thomas E. Lindsley and Irene L. Foster; her husband Kleber K. Skidmore; her daughters, Vivian, Skidmore and Nix Hendricks; and her great grandchild Shelby Stevens.

She is survived by: her children, Lynette Adams (Robert, II), Stover, Steven D. (Belinda), Joyce Adams (Daniel Wayne), Breckenridge, Brian E., Zhan Hua Wu, Ruth H. (James) and Berlinghoff. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to go to Community Hospice and Palliative Care, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
