She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Hackman and Ella Mae Hackman; her daughter Winda A. Bankhead; and her grandson Eltonia L. Humphries, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Deacon Leroy Brown; her children, Tommie Bankhead, Daryl Brown (Gina), Dion Brown (LaToya), Leroy Brown, Jr. and Tami Brown; her grandchildren, Willie Turner, Antonio Neal, Keyor Cunningham, Talia McClendon, Jawan Brown, Kei Brown, Latisha Brown, Mayuri Brown, Daryl Brown, Kaz La Day Brown and Isiah Brown; and her sons, Alphonso McClendon, Jr. and Robert Golden, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
