It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Vann (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Vann and Mary Vann; and his brother Ronald Gene Vann. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia W. Waters; his children, Ernest Lee Jr., Shawn Gregory Vann (Hayme) and Tiffany Lenese Cole (Corey); his grandson Josiah N. Cole; his sisters, Valerie Vann, Eleanor Price (John) and Keisha Scott; his nieces and nephews, Leon Vann, Steven Vann, Eric Griffin, Barbara Mills, Jackie Johnson, Meliscia Jackson, Johnese Jackson, Imani Scott and Kierra Scott; his niece-in-law Dana Richardson; his brother David Williams; and also Jacqueline Richardson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Chapel (4315 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Institutional Church (215 Bethel Baptist St, Jacksonville, FL 32202).
