With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Higginbotham of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Emma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Higginbotham. She is survived by: her children, Michael Higginbotham (Karla), Sherri Higginbotham (Mike Brown) and Karen Dennison (Charlie); her grandchildren, Kyle Dennison (Brittni), Kaley Sotolongo (Alex), Jordan Dennison (Natalie) and Ryan Higginbotham; and her great grandchild Raelyn Dennison.
