With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Benjamin Smith of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Bartow, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his son Danny W. Smith; and his grandsons, Kenny Smith and Christopher Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Tami D. Easom (Gary); his wife Gloria H. Smith; his son Douglas B. Smith; and his grandchildren, Jason Smith, Garrett Easom, Katie Easom and Michael Easom.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073).
