She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleaton Stokes and Mattie Lee Stokes (Norton). She is survived by: her husband Vernon Kitler; her children, Sheryl McDuffie (Jack), Rick Kitler and Randy Kitler (Selina); and her siblings, Ruby Stokes, Juanita Jones (Gary), Wanda Thigpen (Danny) and Clyde Stokes. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren.
