Though Doris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Sigmon and Willie Sigmon Lackey; and her husband Everett J. Yates. She is survived by: her son Barry Goble; her brother John Clyde Sigmon; her granddaughter Lisa Goble; her son Ricky L.; and her daughter-in-law Melodie Goble of White Oak. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cedar Bay Funeral Home (405 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
