She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Michael Grant, Ronnie Edward and Anthony Dowdell (Tonge); her parents, Gilbert Clayton, Sr. and Lannie Clayton; her sister Sally Mae Lane of Robert; her son Donald Dowdell; her sisters-in-law, Delores Ward and Jeanette Clayton; her cousins, Debra Dice, Bobbie Lou, Angie Hamilton, Bianca, Barbara, Benjamin Solomon, Vonda Clayton and Kasper Clayton; her nieces and nephews, Nadine Lane, Frankie Lane and Freddie; her cousins, Willie Henry, Caramita Simmons, Roderick Murrell, Francis Ford and Geraldine McGee; and her niece Jackie. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; 60 Great-Grandchildren; and 14 Great-Great Grandchildren.
