She is survived by: her children, Steven Helvey and Jennifer Creighton (Ahmmed); her grandchildren, Laila Helvey, Nevaeh Helvey, Liyah Harris, Estella Ayala and Amir Creighton; her great grandchild Xena Lungele; and her sisters, Sherry Snipes (Eddie) and Beverly Pool.
