She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Richardson and Reba Hill; her husband Willie S. McLendon; her daughter Delores McLendon; and her brothers, Willie H. Richardson, Tom Wylie Richardson and Luther Gene Richardson.
She is survived by: her son Willie G. McLendon; her brother Rogers L. Richardson (Edwanita) of Atlanta, Georgia; her sister-in-law Annie R Richardson of Columbia; and her aunt Anita Downer of Washington, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Northside Chapel of Sarah L. Carter (6665 New Kings Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32219). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church (1100 Logan St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
