She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Henry and Cecilia Mae Lewis; her brother Josh Albert; and her son Chuck Cunningham. She is survived by: her husband Deacon William Mericle; her children, Teresa Sample (Darryl) and Deacon Kevin Hutchings (Deaconess Asia); her siblings, James Edwards Lewis, Rebecca Willis (Henry) and Thomas Henry; and her close friends, Aretha Brown, Mae Hailey, Vonceil Bradford and Salina Hutchings.
