He was predeceased by: his parents, John Turner Kirkland and Lela Fay Kirkland; and his brother Michael Kirkland. He is survived by: his wife Ligaya Delos Reyes; his daughters, Luisa Turner Morrow and Larissa Lela Kirkland; his adoptive sons, Richard Collins, William Reyes and Chris Daley; and his grandson Tayden Edward Doran.
