He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Douglas Horne, Sr. and Ella Mae Ellison Horne. He is survived by: the mothers of children, Sharla and Shenae; his sons, Jaron and Preston; and his siblings, Earl Douglas Horne, Jr., David Michael Horne, Sharon Brunson (Art) and Sheila Mills (Lonnie). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several extended family.
