We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2024, at the age of 78, Danny Lee Butcher (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Akron, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Danny Lee find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandra D. Butcher; and his parents, Edith Butcher and Denzel Butcher. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Butcher; his children, Danny Butcher Jr., Dana Ramos (Luis Ramos) and Stacie Newman (Jay Newman); and his brothers, Delmus Butcher and Larry Richardson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Arlington Park Cemetery (6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
